Leucillin at The UK’s First Bridleless Competition – The British Bridleless Competition

12:00am
Bury Farm Equestrian Centre

The British Bridleless Competition is making history.

Created in response to the growing movement of riders who wish to compete without a bridle, this groundbreaking event offers something the UK has never seen before: a full competition dedicated entirely to bridleless riding.

Founded by Mia Rodley of The Heart of Horsemanship, the competition was born from a simple but powerful belief that the deepest partnership between horse and rider is built on trust, communication, and understanding. After successfully competing in dressage bridleless by special permission at two venues, Mia set out to create a space where these remarkable partnerships could be celebrated openly and safely.

For the first time in UK history, every horse and rider combination will compete completely bridleless.

The Day’s Competition

  • Morning: Show jumping classes with heights reaching up to 1.30m

  • Afternoon :British Dressage tests, judged by two experienced judges

Spectators Welcome
Join us to witness this extraordinary display of harmony between horse and rider.
🎟 Day tickets: £20
🕘 Access from 9:00am – 5:00pm
Seating is limited and tickets are required.

Evening Demonstration
As the sun sets after a full day of being inspired by the combinations, you too can learn HOW to ride Bridleless with our evening demonstration. For our finale performance you will be wowed by the Bridleless Formation Riding Team!

Safety First
The event is fully insured through Howden Insurance, with comprehensive risk assessments in place. Mia Rodley will personally oversee the competition to ensure every combination remains safe and in control. If at any point a partnership appears unsafe, they will be respectfully asked to withdraw to protect the wellbeing of horses, riders, and spectators.

This is more than a competition.
It is a celebration of partnership, trust, and the future of horsemanship.

Come and witness history.

Leucillin at Crufts 2027

12:00am
NEC - Birmingham

CRUFTS logo

Crufts is the greatest dog event in the world! Organised by the Royal Kennel Club, the show celebrates every aspect of the role dogs play in our lives – from top-level competition to the simple joy of a daily walk.

The story begins in 1886, when an ambitious young Charles Cruft took up the management of the Allied Terrier Club Show at the Royal Aquarium, Westminster. Just five years later, in 1891, he booked the Royal Agricultural Hall in Islington for the very first Cruft’s show – a bold step that marked the beginning of something extraordinary.

Following decades of growth and popularity, 1948 saw the first “Cruft’s” held under the auspices of The Kennel Club, after Charles’s widow – Emma Cruft – handed over control. The show moved to London Olympia and proved an instant success, with 84 breeds entered – almost double the number at the original 1891 event. Just two years later, Crufts was first televised by the BBC, bringing the spectacle into homes across the nation.

By 1991, Crufts (rebranded in 1974) had outgrown its previous venues and moved to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. The relocation marked the show’s centenary and allowed more space to accommodate over 100,000 visitors and a growing global audience. The move also saw the show expand to four days – a reflection of Crufts’ increasing scale and significance.

In 2025, Crufts entered a new chapter. As part of its continued evolution, it was established as a fully-fledged brand in its own right. With ever-growing international interest and a range of events and initiatives already bearing its name, the decision was a natural next step. This development allows the Crufts team to support even more dogs and their owners – from seasoned champions to first-time pet owners – with expert advice, training guidance, and everything in between.

Crufts is no longer just a show. It’s a year-round celebration of dogs – past, present, and future.

Leucillin at Edition Pet

9:00am - 6:00pm
Hall 2, NAEC Stoneleigh Park. Nr Coventry, CV8 2LG

What is Edition PET

Edition Pet was created with a simple idea in mind: to bring the pet sector together in one welcoming, accessible and affordable space.

The pet industry is filled with passionate people. From established manufacturers and leading brands to artisan makers, independent retailers, groomers, trainers, behaviourists, walkers, therapists and countless other professionals, every part of the sector plays an important role. Yet too often, opportunities to come together can feel limited to either large trade exhibitions or consumer-facing events.

Edition Pet has been designed to bridge that gap.

Taking place over two days at NAEC Stoneleigh, Edition Pet is a dedicated industry event where brands can showcase their products, retailers can discover new opportunities and pet professionals can explore the latest innovations, services and ideas shaping the sector. Alongside the exhibition, visitors can enjoy a CPD programme of expert-led education, industry insight and networking opportunities designed to inform, inspire and support growth.

Most importantly, Edition Pet is for businesses of every size. Whether you are an artisan maker selling online, a boutique brand looking to expand, an independent pet store, a growing service provider or an established manufacturer, there is a place for you here. With exhibition space starting from just £140 per day, we are committed to making participation achievable for businesses that may otherwise feel excluded from traditional trade events.

Wish I Knew About This Fantastic Stuff Sooner
I originally bought it to clean my elderly cats chin that appears to have scabs on it. After using daily twice a day, the scabs have almost gone. I also use this to clean my cats and dogs ears and wipe under their eyes and for any itchy spots and it's brilliant. I can't praise it highly enough. Only wish I had found it sooner.
Diane, Denbighshire
A must have in my opinion
I've used leucillin for many minor skin issues on our slightly prone to skin issues/allergies dog and wouldn't be without it. It's not a fix all but feel it's like a safe savlon/germoline equivalent for dogs. She feels zero discomfort at application and also easily discouraged from licking it. Useful for cleaning any sort of wound or as a first safe treatment of any skin irritation. Often it's all that's needed.
Kate, Edinburgh
Leucillin is a fabulous product which no yard or indeed home should be without
I have tried all sorts of lotions and potions over the years for cuts, sores etc all I can say I wish I had known of this wonderful product sooner. I now make sure that we always have a bottle to hand.
Jai Bratton International Dressage Rider
Great antiseptic
I always have this with me on our dog walks. Great for if we have a cut or a thorn injury. At least I know I've done the best I can to keep the wound clean till I can get to my vet. Never leave home without it.
Mel, Wirral
I find it so useful that I even carry a small bottle in my handbag
What I have found magic about Leucillin is that whenever you are not quite sure what to do or put on, I just give a squirt of Leucillin – if it’s a weepy eye, a smelly foot, a cut, a graze, a bite or some odd skin problem, they all have the same application.
Lucinda Green MBE
We now use it as our 'go-to' solution
We have been using Leucillin for several months now and have been delighted with the results we have had. We now use it as our 'go-to' solution for any cuts, nicks and scrapes and have found it very useful in reducing harmful pathogens and swelling of these sorts of areas. The fact that it is totally safe to use around the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas is also a big plus and helps set this product further apart from the previous sprays that we would use around the yard.
Jim Boyle BVSc. MRCVS Racehorse Trainer
I found Leucillin extremely easy to use
My horse recently contracted ringworm with about ten different lesions appearing on his head and neck which seemed to be spreading at an alarming rate. I started to apply Leucillin twice a day to the affected areas and within a week all symptoms of ringworm had cleared up and disappeared. I found Leucillin extremely easy to use by simply spraying the affected areas and rubbing in using gloves. Subsequently I have used Leucillin on cuts and minor wounds on the horses and found it an extremely effective way to clean, keep clean and promote quick and easy recovery. A must have product to be kept in every stable and yard at all times.
Charlie Bradstock (Mrs), Highclere Racing
Its a must for every first aid kit that's for sure!!
Having been involved with horses all my life and managed an Equestrian Retailing outlet for the past 25 years I have come across many products and can honestly say that I have never had anything quite like Leucillin before, It it totally amazing and so universal, it heals everything!!!!!, My ex racehorse had a nasty rope burn and within 24 hours the wound looked totally different, my niece's dog had a sore eye but with a few applications was just fine again.
Jenny Deans - J.F.T.U LTD, Jersey
I was very pleased and will definitely be using Leucillin again
I used the Leucillin on a small cut behind my horses ear - it had broken the skin and was slightly swollen but nothing very severe. I have to say the following day the cut had scabbed over really well and the small swelling had gone down.
Jackie Hooper
My friends with horses RAVE about it
I've been using it on me and my dog. Did a fab job on a spot (better than any spot cream) and have just nipped a small case of shingles in the bud with it too. Use it on the dog after a tick removal. Thank you Leucillin!
Sarah Dowding
I know its 100% safe
I use it for my beardies when they get nasty bites or scratches from each other. I'm a bit weary of using human antiseptics or anything with iodine in as they can't eat anything from the sea which is where iodine comes from and have found that Leucillin has no bad reaction and helps them recover a lot quicker without having to worry that the other one might lick/bite and ingest something harmful. I also use it to clean their food bowl so know its 100% safe for them.
Stacey Walker
The site recovered cleanly with no problem and the hair grew back quickly
Have used Leucillin on both my horse and my cat with very pleasing results. My horse had some very bad fly bites which caused a reaction. Leucillin seemed to calm the itch and helped the rubbed areas to recover quickly. My cat was in a fight and received a minor bite, which I regularly bathed with Leucillin (he allowed me to, unusually). The site recovered cleanly with no problem and the hair grew back quickly.
Lyn Shew
I sprayed his legs twice a day and it kept the mud fever away!
I have used leucillin on my horse for mud fever, He gets it every year on his back white legs. It clears in the summer but every winter it comes back. This last winter I sprayed his legs twice a day and it kept the mud fever away!
Abbi Rollins
The results are amazing!
My bulldog suffers from a skin condition, we don’t quite know what it is, we have tried many creams, sprays and shampoos. Nothing seemed to fully clear it up. We then found Leucillin, we have been using it now for 3-4 weeks and the result is amazing, the patches on his skin have dried up and the fur is starting to grow back.
