Leucillin contains the active ingredient Hypochlorous (HOCl); this is a naturally occurring chemical in the mammalian body produced by white blood cells.

Hypochlorous is one of the most effective and efficient biocides known to man. Whilst being totally safe, it is 300 times more effective than bleach and is almost instant in its effect and bacteria do not develop immunity to it.

Skin is the body’s largest organ and acts as its first and largest line of defence against harmful bacterial, maintaining the skin’s health is vital to the overall well being to you and your pet.

The most versatile first aid product available, Leucillin is a revolutionary anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal spray. Leucillin works in harmony with the bodies’ own immune system by containing the active ingredient Hypochlorous.

Hypochlorous (HOCl) is a naturally occurring chemical in the mammalian body produced by white blood cells.

Hypochlorous or HOCl is a revolutionary breakthrough in healthcare with many 100 times the effectiveness of standard antiseptics while proven to be 100% safe.

… Its Fast acting Extra strength Hypochlorous
Due to the speed in which surviving bacterial cells can reproduce, a 99.9% kill rate is not sufficient. Leucillin contains an extra strength formula, which kills 99.99999%, to ensure that not a single pathogen cell survives.

Because Hypochlorous is a natural chemical already existing in the body, animals prone is skin sensitively with other products will not suffer any adverse reactions to Leucillin, it is 100% safe to use on sensitive areas such as, cuts and open minor wounds and is completely harmless to be ingested where domestic pets are likely to lick at treated areas.

The Science

Leucillin is a unique high strength Hypochlorous (HOCl) formula. The effectiveness of a Hypochlorous product is measured by the strength of Free Available Chlorine (FAC) of the solution. FAC refers to the relationship between the Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and hypochlorite ion. It is this free, uncombined form of Chlorine that is effective for disinfection, FAC is measured in parts per million (ppm)

Leucillin contains a higher ppm formula of FAC than its other competitors; this guarantees a stronger solution, which makes a strong, safe, faster acting product.

HOCl was first identified in 1811 by Sir Humphry Davy as what the body produces, in 1823 Davy’s student, Michael Faraday managed to isolate and produce HOCl by electrolysis passing current through brine solution. It wasn’t until 1914 during the First World War that HOCl was used where a “field lab” could be set up. The biggest problem with using this remarkable natural chemical was harnessing its potential with production of HOCl having a shelf life of only 5 to 25 hours.

Our huge investment in Research and Development has finally managed to harness and stabilize HOCl with an effective shelf life of 24 months, enabling its safe use as the ultimate antiseptic.

Harnessing the bodies’ natural defenses HOCl kills all bacteria, spores and viruses from MRSA and Clostridium difficile (C. Diff), E. coli and Salmonella. HOCls many applications mean it’s the perfect replacement for existing standard antiseptic and minor wound care products.

Leucillin from Lyvlee Ltd has been developed for use of cleaning and flushing minor wounds. Leucillin can be used as a wash optimum for skincare.

Leucillin has been tested to the following EN standards.

EN13727, EN1656 EN 16437, EN16437, EN1657, EN14476, EN14476:2013 A2:2019 Annex A*

Leucillin is therefore effective against all enveloped viruses as defined in EN14476:2013 A2:2019 Annex A* viruses, this therefore includes all coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2.

The above testing protocol is used for medicines. Leucillin is a safe disinfectant and therefore regulated as a biocide. It is not a medicine. It is therefore proven to be effective for its use by testing in a laboratory. We test against international government recognized standards.

Wish I Knew About This Fantastic Stuff Sooner
I originally bought it to clean my elderly cats chin that appears to have scabs on it. After using daily twice a day, the scabs have almost gone. I also use this to clean my cats and dogs ears and wipe under their eyes and for any itchy spots and it's brilliant. I can't praise it highly enough. Only wish I had found it sooner.

A must have in my opinion
I've used leucillin for many minor skin issues on our slightly prone to skin issues/allergies dog and wouldn't be without it. It's not a fix all but feel it's like a safe savlon/germoline equivalent for dogs. She feels zero discomfort at application and also easily discouraged from licking it. Useful for cleaning any sort of wound or as a first safe treatment of any skin irritation. Often it's all that's needed.

Leucillin is a fabulous product which no yard or indeed home should be without
I have tried all sorts of lotions and potions over the years for cuts, sores etc all I can say I wish I had known of this wonderful product sooner. I now make sure that we always have a bottle to hand.

Great antiseptic
I always have this with me on our dog walks. Great for if we have a cut or a thorn injury. At least I know I've done the best I can to keep the wound clean till I can get to my vet. Never leave home without it.

I find it so useful that I even carry a small bottle in my handbag
What I have found magic about Leucillin is that whenever you are not quite sure what to do or put on, I just give a squirt of Leucillin – if it’s a weepy eye, a smelly foot, a cut, a graze, a bite or some odd skin problem, they all have the same application.

We now use it as our 'go-to' solution
We have been using Leucillin for several months now and have been delighted with the results we have had. We now use it as our 'go-to' solution for any cuts, nicks and scrapes and have found it very useful in reducing harmful pathogens and swelling of these sorts of areas. The fact that it is totally safe to use around the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas is also a big plus and helps set this product further apart from the previous sprays that we would use around the yard.

I found Leucillin extremely easy to use
My horse recently contracted ringworm with about ten different lesions appearing on his head and neck which seemed to be spreading at an alarming rate. I started to apply Leucillin twice a day to the affected areas and within a week all symptoms of ringworm had cleared up and disappeared. I found Leucillin extremely easy to use by simply spraying the affected areas and rubbing in using gloves. Subsequently I have used Leucillin on cuts and minor wounds on the horses and found it an extremely effective way to clean, keep clean and promote quick and easy recovery. A must have product to be kept in every stable and yard at all times.

Its a must for every first aid kit that's for sure!!
Having been involved with horses all my life and managed an Equestrian Retailing outlet for the past 25 years I have come across many products and can honestly say that I have never had anything quite like Leucillin before, It it totally amazing and so universal, it heals everything!!!!!, My ex racehorse had a nasty rope burn and within 24 hours the wound looked totally different, my niece's dog had a sore eye but with a few applications was just fine again.

I was very pleased and will definitely be using Leucillin again
I used the Leucillin on a small cut behind my horses ear - it had broken the skin and was slightly swollen but nothing very severe. I have to say the following day the cut had scabbed over really well and the small swelling had gone down.

My friends with horses RAVE about it
I've been using it on me and my dog. Did a fab job on a spot (better than any spot cream) and have just nipped a small case of shingles in the bud with it too. Use it on the dog after a tick removal. Thank you Leucillin!

I know its 100% safe
I use it for my beardies when they get nasty bites or scratches from each other. I'm a bit weary of using human antiseptics or anything with iodine in as they can't eat anything from the sea which is where iodine comes from and have found that Leucillin has no bad reaction and helps them recover a lot quicker without having to worry that the other one might lick/bite and ingest something harmful. I also use it to clean their food bowl so know its 100% safe for them.

The site recovered cleanly with no problem and the hair grew back quickly
Have used Leucillin on both my horse and my cat with very pleasing results. My horse had some very bad fly bites which caused a reaction. Leucillin seemed to calm the itch and helped the rubbed areas to recover quickly. My cat was in a fight and received a minor bite, which I regularly bathed with Leucillin (he allowed me to, unusually). The site recovered cleanly with no problem and the hair grew back quickly.

I sprayed his legs twice a day and it kept the mud fever away!
I have used leucillin on my horse for mud fever, He gets it every year on his back white legs. It clears in the summer but every winter it comes back. This last winter I sprayed his legs twice a day and it kept the mud fever away!

The results are amazing!
My bulldog suffers from a skin condition, we don’t quite know what it is, we have tried many creams, sprays and shampoos. Nothing seemed to fully clear it up. We then found Leucillin, we have been using it now for 3-4 weeks and the result is amazing, the patches on his skin have dried up and the fur is starting to grow back.
